About LEVELheaded
Thank you for your interest in LEVELheaded. We hope you’ve already looked at the website, and that you already know a few things about us:
- We’re probably the longest established organisation in the UK offering training, facilitation and coaching for third sector / social purpose organisations
- We’re a small, tight knit team
- We’ve just been awarded Investors in People Gold, for the third time!
- We work with many of the best known and most respected organisations in the UK and more in mainland Europe
Hopefully you’ve already heard some good things about us, so the purpose of this background piece is to fill in any gaps.
As a long established and specialist provider to organisations of social purpose we get the opportunity to work with great people and great organisations, genuinely trying to make the world a better place. So if you love using your talents to support the development of others, as we do, this could be the perfect place for you. In addition, we receive wonderful feedback from clients – just have a look at what our clients say on our website. This provides lots of immediate and long term appreciation. It really is a great job offering great job satisfaction.
All our work comes via word of mouth recommendation – which shows a wonderful reputation with commissioners and participants alike.
We have a collegiate style of working, underpinned by professional practises and systems. For us, “tight knit” isn’t going to the pub every Friday or having an office bake-off. We’d love to, but we’re out and about. For us, it means open and frequent communication; that we provide a sounding board for each other; that we recognise and act upon our complete interdependence, which makes us supportive of and accountable to each other. We practice what we say about feedback. We all give, and we all receive. We say what needs to be said, finding the best way possible in order to support, encourage and develop each other. There is lots of individual responsibility, and also lots of authority (more of this in the job description and person specification), balanced with acting as part of a team.
We invest in working with each other, so our preference is for those looking for a longer term commitment. In return will be your participation in the co-creation of LEVELheaded – not so much a job, more a player in the business. We strive for each person having an equal voice in the development of LEVELheaded.
We are proud of our ‘Gold’ status with Investors in People, putting us in the top 3% in the country. It just goes to show that small is beautiful in terms of personal development. So, it’s a regular feature of our team discussions where we look for a balance of what works for the individual and what works for LEVELheaded.
In terms of reward and remuneration, we have developed an individually tailored and flexible approach that meets individual need within our agreed policy framework.
If you think variety is the spice of life, why don’t you join us? If you would prefer to talk with one of us at any time, please contact us on 020 8371 5978. Look forward to hearing from you.
